Where Should I Play Next? (The Real Reason I Need Your Zip Code)

If there is one question I get more than any other in comments, emails, or DMs, it is this: "Michael, when are you coming to my city?"

I love that question because it means the music is connecting. It means you are not just listening, you want the live show too. And trust me, I want to get there.

Here is the part most artists do not say out loud: touring is not just about packing a saxophone and showing up. It is logistics, budget, routing, and proving to venues that people will actually come out.

That is where the 200-fan rule comes in.

Why 200 Matters

Before a venue says yes, they want to know one thing: "How many people can you bring?"

If I can show that around 200 fans in one area have raised their hand and said they want a show, that changes the conversation. It gives me real leverage with venues, talent buyers, and promoters. Without that, the numbers are usually too spread out to make a stop work.

So when I ask for your zip code, I am not asking for random information. I am asking for the one thing that helps me see where the strongest support really is.

How You Can Help

If you want me in your city, the best thing you can do is fill out the pre-tour form.

It takes about thirty seconds. Add your name, email, and zip code. That zip code helps me group fans by city and build a real case for booking a show there.

Then send the form to a few friends. If your crew is into the music too, get them on the list. That is how we move from "You should come here" to "We have enough people to make this happen."

I am not trying to send you junk mail. I just need accurate location data so I can plan smart and book the cities that are ready.

Let's Make This Happen

If your city gets to that 200-fan mark, my team and I can start reaching out to venues and locking in dates. And if you are on the list, you will be one of the first to hear about it.

So if you have been asking, "When are you coming to my city?" this is the answer: help me prove your city is ready.

Fill out the pre-tour form, then share it with your friends.

Let's get your city on the map.
